It is shown that use of R409A instead of R12 won’t involve the necessity of change of refrigerating equipment. Cases of successful operation of refrigeration systems working on R409A after retrofit are described.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Описаны основные теплофизические и эксплуатационные свойства хладагента R409A, предназначенного для ретрофита холодильных систем с заменой R12. Показано, что использование R409A вместо R12 не повлечет за собой необходимости замены холодильного оборудования.
