Abstract
An educational process in higher schools is continuously transforming aimed at increasing education quality and compliance with current economic reforms. Educational technologies on the basis of a practiceoriented approach established a reputation as an effective method of upgrading educational process as regards a practical orientation and developing not only the subject knowledge but professional applied competences. The paper describes the experience of realization of an innovative curriculum on the basis of the projectoriented approach for the bachelors in 16.03.03 discipline “Refrigerating, cryogenic engineering and life support systems” in Moscow polytechnic university. The fundamentals of adoption of the discipline “Project activity” according to CDIO standards are presented. The main organizational problems are examined after concrete examples of student works performed. The results of adoption of the Project activity on the basis of the first four years cycle completed of studentsbachelors training have been objectively estimated.
