Abstract
The objective of the present work was to ground the need to improve the electrical sector of household refrigerators operating on isobutane because of possibility of a heat pulse occurring that is dangerous for isobutaneair mixture inflammation. Using the method of UkrNIIBytMash the comparative tests of the compressor of a household refrigeration appliance with a statingsafety relay of various designs and different locations were carried out. It was shown that the use of electrotechnical devices in a refrigerated cabinet of household refrigeration appliances of general industrial design was possible. The functionality of the statingsafety relay when it is out of the compressor casing was proved both theoretically and experimentally. As a result the reduction of economic costs for repairs of household refrigeration appliances is expected.
