Energy-saving air conditioning systems
Abstract
The unitary-central air-conditioning system for the shop of production electronic equipment is considered as an example of energy-saving air conditioning system. The incoming outside air is prepared in the central, conditioner in compliance with sanitary standards on the quantity a moisture absorption. Tn the unitary fan air conditioners the air from the cent air conditioner is mixed with the cooled inside air and comes into the work zone with the temperature as selected according to conditions of comfort, j modes of operation of the unitary-central air-conditioning system in win and summer period are considered. The advantages of the described a conditioning system are presented in comparison to the central one.

Conditions for the effective use of carbon dioxide as a working substance of heat pumps
Abstract
The conditions of effective use of carbon dioxide! (R744) for heat pumps (HP) are considered on the basis of the analysis of its thermophysical and thermodynamic properties, and the competitiveness of HP on R744 with HP on freons. It is shown that the advantages of R744 are most pronounced in HP of large heat output. The works being carried out for the study of the processes, development of calculation techniques and designing of HP on R744 are reported.

Comparative analysis of rapid freezers
Abstract
One and the same transport and technological operation, namely freezing and moving the product inside the freezer can perform different machines with continuous transportation, which include fast freezing devices of conveyor type: belt, cradle, fluidization, spiral and trolley. PTF "CRIOTEK" has some experience in the manufacture and application of most of these devices.
The main criteria for the choice of the freezer are its technical and economic efficiency and compliance with a number of technical requirements, the main of which are to ensure the properties of the frozen product, a certain capacity of the freezer, the conditions of equipment placement.

Refrigeration systems. York International's concept for the brewing industry
Abstract
Beer is an ancient beverage that requires refrigeration at various stages of brewing. In the past, brewers had to rely on the natural temperature conditions of their area or on the use of natural ice.
Refrigeration equipment was first used in 1878 at the Carlsberg brewery in Copenhagen. Considering the fact that refrigeration machines were not common at all before then, it is obvious that breweries were among the first to use artificial cooling systems in the production process.

Economical cold production
Abstract
It is known that a huge amount of electricity is required to operate refrigeration systems. Given its high cost, which has a steady tendency to further increase, saving electricity in refrigerated warehouses becomes an urgent problem. The author's proposals published below may make it possible to solve this problem.

The symposium participants were offered 32 presentations.

SHK Moscow 2003
Abstract
The International Specialized Exhibition "Sanitary Equipment, Heating Equipment, Air Conditioning and Technical Building Support" (SHK Moscow) was held for the seventh time in the Russian capital on May 26 - 29, 2003. For the first time this year the exhibition was located in the new 7-th pavilion of the Exhibition complex on Krasnaya Presnya, created with the financial participation of the organizer of SHK exhibition - the German firm Messe Düsseldorf. The exhibition was held with the assistance of ZAO "Expocenter". It was attended by about 250 companies from 23 countries.
The traditional 7th European Symposium "Modern Energy Efficient Heating and Air-Conditioning Equipment", organized by the AVOK, EHI (European Union of Heating Equipment Manufacturers) with the participation of the State Construction Committee, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and the Department of Fuel and Energy Economy of the Moscow Government; The 2nd All-Russian conference of climatic firms, devoted to the condition and prospects of development of the Russian climatic market.
