Abstract

The problems of a rational cold supply and microclimate maintenance at foods terminals for storage of fruit and vegetable products are examined. Effective systems of cold supply that allows reducing power inputs and good quality of produce is described. A comparative analysis of two air coolers to define the drying of the products stored is cited, is justifying that it was not reasonable to use vapor humidifiers to maintain the microclimate in food cold stores. The term of payback of a more expensive but high efficient air cooler is calculated. Additional recommendations on organization of the heating system of premises or cold supplying system are given if the cold store has technological premises with power-consuming equipment, heat emission from which during a cold period of the year exceeds the total heat losses through the envelope building and because of ventilation too. In conclusion the authors affirm that to choice the most optimal scheme to maintain microclimate in the foods terminals first a target specification should be correctly made. Abstract

Candidate of physicomathematical sciences P.V. Bulat, University ITMO. St.Petersburg The article examines the practice of design and calculation of hybrid bearings including the definition of the bearings capacity and account of dynamical regimes of operation. The putting of the direct task of calculation is set up. In the course of the task the distribution of pressure forces, speed fields are calculated according to a given geometry of the bearing segment and the thickness of the lubrication layer. Also a resultant of pressure forces affecting the segment is defined. At resolving the inverse task the algorithm of defining the bearing parameters according to a designated bearings capacity and consumption of a working medium is given. A special attention is paid to the calculation of rotating selfadjusting segments that provide an additional lift force at rotation due to the Bernoulli Effect. The information on optimization of the segment form and the system of air supplying of the segment hybrid bearing is cited. The advantages of the bearing at closed loop and crescentshaped nozzle are shown. The main types of nonstationary motions of the shaft are examined as follows: semispeed rotation, parametric resonance, Sommerfeld effect, beating. A “quantization” of limited cycles of the rotor precessing at different levels of initial agitations is shown. Abstract

When designing the systems of refrigeration for fruit and vegetables stores it is necessary to do a thermoeconomic analysis of the object being created for resolve the problem of today to save energy taking into account price changes of electric power. A thermoeconomic model of a refrigerating plant to provide with cold the fruit and vegetable stores. The model takes into account the exergy indexes and losses as the components of criterion of thermodynamic efficiency of energy systems providing minimum of costs cited. Thanks to the model an analytical solution has been obtained on the basis of which the optimal characteristics of the cold supply system and conditions of it exploitation were defined.
