Technological and social changes in the third millennium
Abstract
Experts believe that there is a gradual replacement of industrial capitalism with new, completely different social and economic systems. A variety of terms are used to define this phenomenon: “postindustrialism”, “postfordism”, “postmodernism”, “information age”, “network society”, etc. While the names of the new society vary, there is general agreement that traditional industrial capitalism will be complemented by new forms of production, consumption, and social organization. Such changes are associated with some results of organizational and technical restructuring due to mass production and consumption. All this requires analysis. This report should be seen as an invitation to explore some of the trends and trends and what they mean for those involved in the production, marketing and use of NEW AGE refrigeration.
Main Outcomes of the Eleventh Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (China, Beijing, November 27-December 3, 1999)
Abstract
The Eleventh Meeting of the Parties (MOP-11) to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (Montreal Protocol) and other related events was attended by approximately 1,000 participants representing 128 country Parties to the Montreal Protocol and 2 non-Parties Montreal Protocol, 31 intergovernmental and non-governmental international organizations, 48 industrial corporations and companies, as well as about 50 observers from various environmental and public organizations. PRC President JIANG ZIEMIN and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) SHAFGAT AS AH spoke at the opening of the meeting
Changes in world production of chlorofluorocarbons: impact on the atmosphere and climate
Abstract
The influence o f limitations as imposed by Montreal Protocol and its amendments concerning ozone depleting substances on the state o f the environment and rhe climate was evaluated on the basis o f the analysis o f data on the production o f CFC and their atmosphere concentrations during the last two decades. A share o f refrigerating industry in the global production volume o f freons and their ozone-safe substitutes is shown.
Tewi analysis of compressor units when operating with traditional and alternative refrigerants
Abstract
The energetic-ecological aspects of using of traditional refrigerants (R717, R22) and alternative refrigerants (R404C, R410A, R410B) in big gross capacity compressor aggregate are considered in article. The real volume characteristics of the aggregates Al 10-7-2 and A110-2-2 on the base of compressor П110 are used for correct comparison. While using TEW I-analyses method we came to the conclusion that the compressor aggregates are effective when operating with the refrigerants under consideration.
Thermostatic expansion valves type TC
Abstract
The TC thermostatic expansion valve is a wonderful example of a product that seems simple but is so complex that it took years and a large team of engineers to develop it. This series is intended for refrigeration units from 5 to 25 kW, operating on R22 at a boiling point of -25 °C. It is a continuation of the TU series, which was mastered by Danfoss several years ago. The production line for this series of thermostatic expansion valves is one of the most highly organized in the world.
Evaporative condensers MIK high power
Abstract
Currently, dozens of MIK evaporative condensers are successfully operating in the food industry and wholesale trade in Russia - from St. Petersburg to Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Some of them have completely reconstructed their condenser departments. Among these enterprises are Ulyanovsk brewery "Vityaz" (six condensers MIK-500); Moscow Fish Processing Plant "Meridian" (six condensers MIK-400). The Krasny Vostok brewery (Kazan), Moscow cold storage plants No. 3 and No. 9, Saratovmoloko, Ostankino dairy plant, dairy plant in Nizhny Novgorod, Evdakovskiy oil and fat plant, Podolsk cold storage plant, Smolensk dairy plant, Zhivoe beer brewery are currently under reconstruction. ” in Volgograd, Alekseevsky poultry plant, etc.
MIK condensers are also installed at Kirovsky, Omsk, Voronezh, Saransk, Lipetsk, Narofominsk, St. Petersburg No. 1, Kazan and other refrigeration plants, at Klin, Badaevsky breweries, at Priazovskaya Bavaria in Yeysk, at oil and fat plants in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and other cities, at the Krasnaya Presnya and Rostokino fruit and vegetable bases in Moscow, at the Novouralskaya trade and warehouse base, at the Shchelkovsky, Dzerzhinsky and Belgorod meat processing plants, at dairy plants in Vologda, Kazan and other cities
Efficient refrigeration systems for fruit and vegetable storage chambers
Abstract
A. S. Refrigeration has a wide range of LENNOX equipment (trade mark NK Refrigeration) for refrigeration systems. Such systems have already been implemented and successfully operated at meat processing plants (Noginsk Meat Processing Plant, Klin Meat Processing Plant, Krasnodar Meat Processing Plant, meat processing plants in Ukraine and Kazakhstan), vegetable stores (Perovskaya Vegetable Base, URSa vegetable store of SE "Beltransgaz" in Minsk), chocolate storage rooms and confectionery products (Samara confectionery factory "Russia"). They are adapted to Russian operating conditions and are characterized by high accuracy in maintaining the specified parameters of the microclimate in the premises both in summer and winter periods of operation, reliability and a high degree of automation. The specialists of the company A.S. Refrigeration assists distributors and end customers in calculations, selection of equipment, design, installation and commissioning.
Compact refrigeration units for urban transport
Abstract
In connection with the recent increase in the volume of intracity transportation of ice cream and quick-frozen products, Carrier Transicold, a leading manufacturer of transport refrigeration equipment, has introduced a promising range of low-temperature compressor and storage units to the Russian market.
Such units are usually equipped with vehicles used for transportation in the city. Carrier Transicold is closely monitoring all changes in this area and is constantly working to improve and create modern refrigeration equipment for light vehicles.
Insulating gas masks IP-4M and IP-5 and regenerative cartridges RP-4-01 and RP-5
Abstract
Insulating gas masks IP-4M and IP-5 will protect the respiratory organs, eyes and facial skin from chemically hazardous substances (AHOV), such as ammonia, chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, etc. (regardless of their concentration). They can be used when performing emergency recovery work, if it is impossible to use filtering gas masks, in conditions of lack of oxygen, etc. The IP-4M gas mask can also be used when the chlorine content in the air is up to 10%, IP-5 - when carrying out simple work underwater at a depth of up to 7 m.
Frigo clima tec Moldova-99
Abstract
From 7 to 10 September 1999, the first international specialized exhibition “FRIGO CLIMA TEC MOLDOVA-99” was held in the Palace of the Republic, organized by the exhibition company “Poliproject Exhibitions Ltd” with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry, the Ministry of the Environment of the Republic of Moldova and the Association of Enterprises for the development of the production of quick-frozen products. The exhibition was opened by the Ministers of the above departments Valeriu Bulgari and Arcadie Capcelea, as well as the Minister of Industry and Trade Alexandra Kan. The great importance of the use of refrigeration equipment at all stages of the continuous refrigeration chain was noted, as well as the need to involve leading manufacturers of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in Moldova.
