Air coolers and air condensers Goedhart

kollegiya R.

Abstract

In a previous publication, the effect of fan location on the cooling capacity of an air cooler was evaluated.
We continue to compare the efficiency of the air cooler with two options for the location of the fan - in front of the heat exchanger (air supply from the heat exchanger) and behind the heat exchanger (air supply from the fan).

Comparative analysis of air and plate freezers

Meshcheryakov A.N., Maslakov V.N.

Abstract

Design and dimensions of freezers. The cost of capital construction and reconstruction costs are determined precisely by these indicators. As a rule, during air freezing, the volume of the chamber is several times greater than the volume of a quick freezer during contact freezing with the same capacity. This is due to the fact that for free circulation of air between the packaged products, it is necessary to leave significant gaps, and rather large-sized air coolers are installed inside the chamber. The large surface of the room determines a significant heat gain, which leads to an increase in the consumption of heat-insulating materials.

Industrial installations for the complex treatment of fluorocarbons

Arkharov A.M., Bondarenko V.L., Savinov M.Y., Simonenko Y.M.

Abstract

In this paper, plants for producing fluorocarbons, which can be used as refrigerants, with the impurity level of no more than 5ppm have been described. In the R14purification plant, the high boiling components are adsorbed in the adsorbers, and the final purification is accomplished in the rectifying columns with packing.

Liquid nitrogen serves as the refrigerant. The design solutions allowing to minimize the R14 losses and reduce the liquid nitrogen consumption have been described.

Substances with a high condensing temperature ( RC318 and SF6) are purified at the plants with the integrated vapor compression refrigeration machines, in which the purified product is used as a working medium.

Ammonia refrigeration machines by Grasso for the food, chemical industry and industrial air conditioning systems

Editorial B.

Abstract

A series of refrigerating machines for liquid cooling (chillers) FX P includes 18 types. Each machine is equipped with a Grasso screw compressor that has proven itself all over the world. The range of cooling capacity of FX P chillers is from 200 to 5800 kW at a temperature of the cooled liquid at the outlet of 6°C. Ammonia is used as the refrigerant because it is ozone-friendly and meets all the requirements for refrigerants today in terms of environmental impact.

Filters for vapor compression machines

Burenin V.V.

Abstract

During the manufacture, transportation, installation and operation of vapor compression refrigerating machines, it is impossible to completely exclude the ingress of mechanical particles into the internal working cavities of their components, which are interconnected by pipelines and form a closed hermetic system filled with refrigerant.

Thermal insulation material ARMAFLEX® is the best among analogues

Board E.

Abstract

In March 2004, at the key European exhibition of thermal insulation materials ISO in the German city of Wiesbaden, representing 120 participants from 11 countries, ARMACELL was awarded the international quality award ISO Award 2004. The international jury recognized the thermal insulation material ARMAFLEX® as the best among analogues, explaining his decision: “The invention of ARMAFLEX®, the world's first flexible insulation material, marked the birth of an entire industry of flexible technical thermal insulation. ARMAFLEX® has excellent technical characteristics that are constantly getting better.”

Energy-saving modes for supply air preparation in comfort air conditioning systems

Kokorin O.Y., Komissarov V.V., Safronov A.V.

Abstract

In comfort air conditioning systems during preparation of the inlet outside air its humidification is necessary. The company “Venta” has developed and produces a compact apparatus for adiabatic humidification; its use in systems of ventilation and air conditioning leads to reduction of operational and capital expenditures.
