Increasing the technical level of domestic refrigeration equipment

Tovaras N.V., Borovleva V.M., Prozorova T.V., Lobov O.V., Pinaev S.G., Pomoshnikova R.I., Klimenko V.B., Voronkov O.G.

Abstract

New ammonia and compressor units developed by NPF “Khimkholodservice” company out basis of screw compressors of the leading European companies — AIRZEN (Germany) and HOWDEN (Scotland) with oil coolers, oil separators, automation systems, power panels with systems of some start of own production, as well as refrigerating machines, evaporators and condensers are described in the article. Use of the components meeting the world technical level considerably improves operational characteristics and service life of Russian refrigerating units and machines.

Air conditioning systems for clean rooms

Kokorin O.Y., Andronov F.I.

Abstract

Air conditioning systems for «clean rooms» are described. The operation of the central air conditioning system according to energy-saving technology is offered when only outside air is cooled and dehumidified in the central conditioner. Capital expenditures and energy consumption during operation are considerably reduced in this case.

Experimental study of the cooling system of a domestic refrigerator

Kalnin I.M., Fadekov K.N.

Abstract

Results of experimental investigation of a two-compartment household refrigerator refrigeration systems on three refrigerants, two of which were zeotropic mixtures are presented. Three different circuits n refrigeration system were studied with these refrigerants. It is shown that use of a zeotropic mixture wilt considerable temperature glide of phase transitions as a refrigerant, will make it possible to considerably reduce energy consumption of household refrigerator.

Development of the refrigeration industry in Russia (from 1910 to 1914)

Rogatko S.A.

Abstract

Statistics of those years and its analysis eloquently show that in the Russian Empire with its abundance of food producing areas there were rather high compared with the world prices for basic foodstuffs, such as meat, eggs, fruits and vegetables. So, meat cost 15-25 kopecks per pound (1 pood = 8 rubles), butter - 50-65 kopecks, eggs - 20-35 kopecks per dozen. Prices for New Zealand lamb in London ranged from 10 to 17 kopecks per pound, chilled North American beef was on average 17 kopecks per pound and frozen beef was 9-11 kopecks per pound.

Gas mask RPG-67 and universal RU-60M respirators (SpetsTechSbyt)

Abstract

Respirators are designed to protect the respiratory system from vapor-gaseous harmful substances at concentrations not exceeding 10...15 mg/m3 of MPC, and the RU-60M model is also designed to protect against harmful aerosols at concentrations up to 100 mg/m3. They can be used in all climatic zones of Russia at chemically harmful enterprises, when working with fertilizers and toxic chemicals, during painting and handling operations.
