Experimental and theoretical study of the carbon dioxide heat pump evaporator
Abstract
Results of experimental and theoretical investigation of operation of the heat pump evaporator are presented. The experiments were carried out on the prototype of the actual installation, created in MGUEE. The mathematical model of heat exchange between the working substance (carbon dioxide) and the heat carrier (water) in the evaporator has been developed. The results of the calculations have satisfactory agreement with the experimental data available in the literature and those obtained on the experimental installation of MGUEE
World leader in compressor manufacturing
Abstract
Copland, a division of Emerson Climate Technologies, is a world leader in compressor manufacturing, constantly introducing advanced technologies and carrying out technical re-equipment of production and personnel training. For more than 80 years, Copland has brought cutting-edge technology to the market, from the first semi-hermetic and hermetic compressors in the 40s and 50s to the high-efficiency DISCUS compressors and air conditioning models in the early 90s
New compact screw compressors "Bitzer" series CSH
Abstract
Performance and environmental safety
Already during the development of the compressor concept, great importance was attached to achieving high efficiency combined with environmental friendliness. Ensuring a high resulting efficiency starts with the use of a highly efficient electric motor (its efficiency reaches 0.95). When calculating the isentropic efficiency of a compressor, both the engine efficiency and the volumetric efficiency are taken into account, which is significantly dependent on internal leakage in the compressor. The value of the latter depends on the quality of the profile and the gaps between the rotors and the housing walls. The rigidity of the body and rotors determines their deformation under the influence of gas pressure and temperatures and, consequently, the size of the gaps between them.
Special means for the delivery of perishable goods
Abstract
In the transportation of perishable foods, maintaining of temperature and humidity conditions constant is a complicated problem.
In connection with this, special containers have been developed in VNIKHI and ZAO "NPO" Projecspetstekhnika, allowing to load the package-order of perishable foods directly in the storage room of the producer and without change of the regime to deliver it to commercial refrigerating equipment of the recipient.
A description of insulated containers and of a heavy-freight multi sectional body of the container is presented
